Frequently Asked Questions
What age children does the program serve?
Children six weeks of age to five years are welcome in the Eanes Care Early Education Program.
What are your hours?
We are open M-F from 7:00am- 5:30pm.
What is the education level of your teachers?
Our teachers vary in education and experience. We have teachers with Masters, Bachelors and Associates as well as teachers with a few years experience on up to nearly twenty! We believe the diversity of our team makes us stronger.
What curriculum do you follow?
We have adopted the Frog Street Curriculum! Our curriculum is emergent and play-based. Frog Street curriculum is a comprehensive, dual-language program designed to meet the needs of diverse learners, while supporting 10 learning domains. This engaging, interactive program celebrates the joy of learning while children travel down the road to success.
How long is your waitlist?
This is a complex question which makes it hard to give an exact estimate to families. We fill classrooms first with returning children, then with EISD employee children and finally with community members. You can always email us and we will do our best to give you a status update. For more on our wait list, visit Forms on the menu above.
Can I be on the wait list for more than one campus?
Yes! Please fill out an application for each campus you are interested in.
Can I transfer my child from one campus to another?
If you are interested in a transfer, please contact our Program Coordinator, Shannon Eastman, to discuss. We try our best to accommodate these requests but decisions depend on our enrollment numbers, staffing and other factors.
